Q. WILL I NEED PLANNING PERMISSION?

In most instances, a Bioclimatic Pergola or Veranda can be installed under Permitted Development rights.

If your Pergola or Veranda is installed at the back of a terraced or semi-detached property, the maximum projection (or depth) is 3.0m. If you’re in a detached property, the maximum projection is 4.0m.

If you're within a conservation area, an area of outstanding natural beauty, or green belt, you may be required to submit a formal planning application. This is also something we can assist you with.

Q. HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO INSTALL?

Bioclimatic Pergola & Verandas - A typical 3m x 3m should take no more than 2 days to be installed. Naturally, the bigger the structure, the longer it will take to install, but we’ll advise you of this at quotation stage.

Awnings - Installation is usually completed inside a day, although as with any bespoke engineered product, installation times may take longer, but we’ll advise you of this at quotation stage.

As every product we supply and install is bespoke to your requirements, we will advise you to lengthier installation times where necessary. If you’re working with a landscaper, the earlier we can liaise on the project, the better equipped we are in meeting your timescales and expectations.

Q. HOW LONG IS THE GUARANTEE?

Our Bioclimatic Pergolas are covered by a full 5 year guarantee (parts and labour); this covers the structure and rotating roof panels, plus the electrical components e.g. receivers, motors and sensors. For other items such as integrated LED lighting, wireless remote controls and Bluetooth speakers, will be covered by a 2-year guarantee.

We offer a full 5 year guarantee on our range of Awnings, covering the awning frame-cassette, motor and folding arms. We also provide a 2 year guarantee on the electrical installation of your awning. Items such as LED lighting within the folding arms, infrared heaters and custom cantilever brackets come with a 1 year guarantee.
